Bittersweet Milestone!
February 5th, 2009
REDMOND, WA - A great milestone has been reached! Since the ministry was started in the summer of 2005, we have helped a
total of 80 families. This milestone, however, is truly a bittersweet one.
Blessings From Heaven Ministries is ceasing operations.
All families that were promised help have received it. Others have been referred to other organizations.
We would like to thank everyone who donated furniture and appliances. All of the families that received each item are very appreciative.
We would also like to thank our handful of financial donors. While we were never able to raise any money, the small amount that came in was extremely helpful.
We would also like to say a very special thank you to American Mini Storage in Redmond. All of the donated furniture was stored at their facility. We truly could not have helped so many people without their assistance.
This is not a sad ending but a happy beginning. A new season of life.
A time such as this brings to mind the following Scripture:
Psalm 121
I will lift up my eyes to the hills-
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
